062 - Cold Sore Girl

  1. OMG, Hanako, the first panel where you're looking down at the cold sore on your upper lip was so funny because of the expression on your face. And the second panel killed me, too. Finally, the Starbuck's guy's expression in the last two panels was also hilarious. Your strip was especially well done this week, in my opinion, Hanako! :)

  3. "La sore" (feminine) looks horribly painful! I hope you get well soon!

  4. Doh!--Looks like yesterday's comment got lost in cyberspace again, so I'll say it again: this week's strip was great. Every visual made me laugh: the expression on your face as you looked down at your lip (you somehow looked cross-eyed even though your pupils weren't showing); the 'girly' walking cold sore with a purse; and the expression on the Starbucks guy's face. You may not have gotten your order of Starbucks coffee, Hanako, but I'm placing an order with you that I hope you'll deliver on: keep up the good work! :)

  5. Thanks a lot, ladies and gents! I lived as a big cold sore for two weeks. People were talking to the cold sore, and the cold sore was replying. Keven was very afraid of her...Now it is gone, and I am so happy!! I never appreciated my face this much before. Haha!

  6. Oops, who is Keven!? I meant Kevin. I spelled my husband's name wrong.

  7. Soooo funny! And I'm happy to hear it's gone! I had a cyst in my eye this month and it looked like I'd been punched. The eye medicine was like vaseline, which added a nice, goopy shine. Lovely!
