*** Japan Trip 2014 ***

Hi everyone! We just got back from Japan a week ago. We had a fantastic time seeing my family and visiting new places!
I wanted to share some pictures from the trip... I hope you will enjoy them and visit there sometime. ;)

    2. Funny you should say that, because it was your comic blog that made me aware that many other equally inspirational websites (e.g. Texan in Tokyo) and YouTube channels (e.g. Gimmeeabreakman) exist that not only feed my desire to visit Japan, but even teach me useful bits of information about the Japanese world-view. I'm also grateful to you for mentioning somewhere at some point that a Japanese/English language learning network exists in Toronto.

    1. I am glad you enjoyed them! From the top, the first three pics were taken in Morioka at Sansa festival. The fourth to the seventh were taken in Kanazawa. The eighth pic is at Nebuta festival in Aomori, and the last one is taken in Ebisu, Tokyo.

  4. Ah! Morioka, land of little bowls of noodles! Friends in Akita always went just for that but I never did. :( Next time! We missed Nebuta, too but I saw some of the lanterns at the Aomori tourist centre. They were incredible! What took you to Kanazawa? I would love to visit there, too. Happy almost long weekend!

  5. I kept hearing that Kanazawa is a nice place to visit for its historical areas. They were amazing, and I would visit there again!
